Asta Baumöller

Jg. 1966, Asta Baumöller studied Design & Visual Communication in New York, Stuttgart and Duesseldorf.

She has worked in the media industry since 1989 and has more then 12 years of experience in design, leadership and HR management. Starting her career in the Art Direction Department of RTL Television Cologne she went on to join VIVA Television as Creative Director and later on was responsible for the operational management and start-up activities of VIVA Italy in Milan. After returning to Germany in 2002 she became Managing Director and member of the Supervisory Board of the Swiss subsidiary branch of VIVA, in Zurich, which she took into profit during her 5 year term there.

In 2007 Asta stepped down from management, in order to return to Germany and to found MELT.MEDIA RECRUITMENT, a recruitment agency specialised on media/new media, based in Berlin. Baumöller received  serveral national and international design awards, is a member of the German Art Director´s Club since 1999 and has been a jury member at various award shows in the last years.
