Andreas Spieß

Andreas Spieß has been a lawyer for all his professional life.
In 1999 he founded Spiess & Schumacher, based in Berlin, Germany, specialized in IP-and copyright law with clients all over the world. Andreas has been busy with the development and implementation of international licensing and know-how transfer solutions for technology and IT companies, but also counselling start ups, ventures and M&A in the field of Entertainment and Cleantech.

In 2008 Andreas became founding partner of the Ethiopian renewable energy company Solar23 dev plc, now one of the biggest Solar System Integrators in Ethiopia.

In 2010/2011 he developed, together with GRAFT architects, a highly innovative product "SOLARKIOSK" to distribute solar energy products and services in rural off-grid areas worldwide.
